"US" means me and my husband, Jason and Kelly Copes. While this business is uniquely mine, I do get a lot of help and loving support from my husband. He helps me out with some of the more technical issues of Photoshop.

I graduated from Radford University in May of 1999 with a degree in technical theatre and a desire to do great things. I went on to work at Busch Gardens that summer and then spent the next nearly 4 years as the Properties Assistant at TheatreVirginia. I had moved up the ranks to Company Manager and Assistant Production Manager when the theatre went under in December of 2002, much to my pain and sorrow. I have had a variety of fascinating jobs since then including a scrapbook store, Mary Kay, and more time with Busch Gardens. Lately I've made my living substitute teaching for the Williamsburg-James City County school system, which has been fun and challenging, but not exactly lucrative.

In my spare time I've designed and maintained the web sites that you see on the Portfolio page. I enjoyed doing them as a hobby and then my mother suggested putting an ad in a newsletter, to see if anyone else would be interested in my services. I thought it might be an excellent way to make a little extra money, while providing people with quality web sites at very reasonable rates.
